Unlike conventional architectural visualisation, this project required a much more technical approach to material development. Many products had to be recreated in 3D from the ground up, with particular attention given to the individual layers and surface characteristics that make up each insulation system.

The work included close-up material visualisations as well as complete product renders, often requiring highly specific representations of fibrous, perforated, metallic, woven, web-like and softer semi-fluid material structures. Each product presented a different challenge, with variations in texture, density, colour, reflectivity, pattern and layered construction.

A key part of the process was ensuring that every visual accurately matched the relevant Bradford product specification and product code. The imagery therefore needed to be both visually convincing and technically consistent with the real materials being represented.

The final result was a large, coherent suite of high-quality product visualisations that allowed Bradford to present complex insulation products clearly, consistently and at a level of detail that would be difficult to achieve through conventional photography alone.

This project demonstrates ZULIC STUDIO’s ability to work beyond architectural CGI, applying advanced 3D modelling, material creation and detailed surface development to highly specialised technical products.
